COTABATO CITY: The Regional Board of Investments (RBOI) of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) currently approved a proposed P3-billion telecommunications investment from TierOne Communications International, Inc. (TierOne) in the place.

The project seeks to put up a telecommunications service within the ARMM. TierOne had planned to carry out its first rollout application for Marawi City, however re-evaluated its marketing strategy and application of works due to the continued Marawi siege.

Still, TierOne expressed readiness to hold with a rollout software for Marawi City consistent with the government’s rehabilitation and reconstruction program. Once it receives the move signal from authorities, it'll construct state of the art telecommunications infrastructure for the City.

TierOne determined to rollout first a pilot program for its telecommunications undertaking by using building centers inside the ARMM authorities compound in Cotabato City to serve ARMM authorities corporations.

The company intends to in the end cover all areas of ARMM with an investment of $60 million or P3. Billion with provision for expansion and infusion of additional capital as wished. It will offer cellular provider in 2G, 3G, 4G, LTE, broadband wireless internet to homes and establishments, and WiFi for public or not unusual areas.
